Donation tax receipts
Thank you to everyone who donated to our Electoral District Association! Tax receipts for 2023 were mailed on February 9. Contact us at strathcona@edmontonstrathcona.ca with any questions. Please note that if you donated to the Federal NDP you will receive a separate receipt from them.
Donation Limits and Tax Credit Information
Donate today! In 2024, you can give up to $1725 to riding associations (EDAs), local federal campaigns or nomination races combined. You can also give up to $1725 in 2024 to Canada’s NDP. All Canadians with taxable income receive generous tax credits when they donate to Canada’s NDP. For example, a donation of $500 costs you just $150.
You get back:
•75% for the first $400 you donate.
•50% for the next $350 you donate.
•33 1/3% of the rest
up to a total tax credit of $650.

Alberta residents who join the NDP become a member of both the federal and Alberta NDP. You can join online or contact us at strathcona@edmontonstrathcona.ca, and we'll mail or drop off a form. An NDP membership costs as a little as $10.

Annual General Meeting
The Edmonton Strathcona Federal NDP AGM took place Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Bonnie Doon Community Hall. Thanks to everyone who attended and to the 17 volunteers who joined our executive committee! Our next AGM will take place in spring 2024.
